Starting to upload all our Ohayocon 2010 photos! The first 100 are up in the gallery and on our facebook fan page! Follow us on twitter so you know exactly when new photos are live! We decided to change the watermark a bit after talking to a fan at Ohayocon. Hope you like the smaller more un-obtrusive watermark. Just remember that if you like your photo please buy it from us! Its cheap and helps us keep getting to all these conventions so we can take your picture and do video.
Calling all DSLR photographers! If you got good shots at Ohayocon and are looking for a place to post your photos send us a email by clicking contact above. Put in a link to some of your work and if its good we will host you as a guest photographer! Your pictures should be watermarked with your information and of a size no smaller than 1024×1024 for posting in our gallery and facebook fan page. If people offer to buy your photos we will pay you $1.00 per photo.
I found out about Windy Con from a friend on facebook about 2 weeks before the event and was really surprised and excited. A steampunk convention only about an hour away?! Excellent!
Taking a look at the website showed that Windy Con was not “technically” a steampunk con, but a science fiction one with this years theme being steampunk. Yup, still sounds awesome. So I put together my gear and headed out Saturday morning to the Westin Hotel.
2000+ Otakon pictures are up in the gallery!! They are all available for free download for you use however you like as long as you dont try to remove the watermark! Enjoy!
As the week draws to a quick close, we are scrambling about to get ourselves ready for Otakon in Baltimore. This one is a doozy. Ranked as the second largest convention in the U.S. in 2007, we’re not quite in Kansas anymore, being used to Anime Central. What’s a measly 12,000 people compared to 22,000? It’ll be four Enthusiasts versus the whole mass of fantastic people attending. If you see us, please come by and wish us luck. It’ll be quite an endeavor.
Friday we’ll be in our Lucky Star cheerleader outfits and on Saturday we’ll be (hopefully) premiering our Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi Bunny Girl Outfits (pictured above, though we will look less chibi). I say hopefuly since we decided to complete these costumes about two days ago, giving ourselves about a week and a half of work time. Cross your fingers that they turn out in time! Sunday we’ll be dressed in boring Enthusiasts shirts, but again, we never turn down a friendly hallow ^^.
Is there anything we must not miss? Care to share a few memories of Otakon? Is there a secret password we should know? Post it in the forums, so we have some idea what we’re getting in to. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!
After a long, sticky day at Soy Con, here are the fruits of our labor! Soy Con photos are up in the galleryfor your viewing pleasure. There very well might be additions to the gallery, as we currently have a memory card that is MIA. So check back soon to see if the mystery card has turned up.
As this was the Enthusiasts first Soy Con, we were unsure on what to expect. Soy Con is a cosplay meet-up that has a photo shoot around Chicago on Saturday and a cosplay picnic on Sunday. Fresh air and fun costumes were really nice to enjoy. If only it hadn’t been so hot.
Videos of the event will be up soon!
***UPDATE***
Mystery card has been found! It was discovered trying to stow away a voyage to the laundry. Luckily it was apprehended and taken to the proper authorities. Look for even more photos of Soy Con on Thursday
***UPDATE of the UPDATE!***
